the kalimba is my “what if music, but low-stress” instrument. no giant setup, no terrifying bow control, just a small wooden block that sounds way prettier than it has any right to. My thumbs can handle even the worst of pains now.
is it technically advanced? no. does it make my brain happy? absolutely.
